Who here is the “Strongman”?
Is it the sower or that which is being sown?
There is a farmer working in his field. He is sowing seeds of many different plants. Corn, wheat, tomatoes, carrots and the like, good seed that would feed and provide for the health and well being of his family. Let me ask you. Who here is the “strongman” Is it the farmer or the seeds? Is it the sower or that which is being sown. Obviously, the farmer is the “strongman”. He determines what seeds are sown and how or where.
The farmer has a wife and three children. Tragically the farmer falls under a piece of equipment and is horribly killed. This traumatic event seriously affects each one in his family. It deeply wounds each of their souls. In his wife, this trauma sows the seeds of sadness and despair. In his son, it sows the seeds of bitterness and fear and in his two daughters it sows the seeds of anxiety and hopelessness. Let me ask you again, who here is the “strongman”. Is it the“trauma” that brought the soul wounds or is it the afflictions received by the family? Is it the sower or that which is being sown. Again, obviously the trauma is the “Strongman”.This “strongman”, the “spirit of trauma” has been around since the very beginning with Adam and Eve. It is the tool that Satan has used to bring havoc to all of humanity. Every person who has ever lived has been touched by this spirit.
Since the farmer has died, there is no one to tend to the crops. No one to water, cultivate or harvest. When the sower perishes, that which is sown also perishes. When the “spirit of trauma” perishes (is pulled down), all the bad seeds that he has sown, the bad roots he has put down will also perish. When the soul wounds are healed, there is wholeness and deliverance. It is so important that we recognize how devastating this “strongman” has been to all of us. To understand that the “sower” is the strongman and that which he “sows” are strongholds. It is vital to understand the difference between the two.
This is the focus of Revealing Light Healing Centres. For every individual, family, people group and nation, we pray to pull down the “spirit of trauma”. When we understand who the enemy is we can effectively pray specific, focused prayer against it. This is the prayer that will set the nations free.
When a person experiences a severe emotional traumatic event, it creates a wounding of the soul (soul wound). This wound provides fertile ground for the “spirit of trauma” to sow seeds of affliction. He puts down destructive emotional roots that when fully developed will produce harmful physical fruit.
This physical fruit is harmful to the individual and can often cause trauma to those who are in close relationship with that person.
It is not enough to cut a root or pick off the fruit. The entire tree (strongman) must be uprooted(pulled down). Remember, the roots and the fruits are the strongholds that are established by the body of the “Tree” which is the “strongman”, Trauma. This is the only way that the soul wound can be healed, for the person to be made whole and delivered.
For the unbeliever, this soul wound will never heal as the enemy will continuously pick at their wounds to keep them open. For it is only the blood of Christ that can bring healing to the soul wound. For the believer however, it is an ongoing process, we must continue to apply the blood of Christ to our wounds to receive healing. Even as our wounds are healed, the enemy will always attempt to find an opportunity to sneak in and aggravate the scar, reopen the wound. This is why we continue to pray, continue to plead the blood and continue to put on the full armor of God.
May God use this to direct your prayers against this devastating spirit.
Grace and peace to you all...

Paul's message to the Ephesians is a wonderful picture of Gods desire for His creation to live in harmony and unity.
God is the God of diversity, he created it, he scattered the people at the tower of Babel and created the nations. Somewhere along the line we have allowed that diversity to turn into division. Instead of embracing our differences we have allowed them to become stumbling blocks between brothers and sisters in Christ.
There are many tongues, many tribes and many nations in the body of Christ. Let us rejoice in the different cultures, worship styles, traditions and yes even the small differences in doctrine that make up the global body of Christ. Remember, unity does not mean uniformity.

Throughout the centuries there have been many incidents of genocide. Six million Jews died in Nazi occupied Europe. Two million Cambodians died at the hands of Pol Pot. One million Rwandans were killed by their own countrymen and in only ninety days.
Countless millions died under cruel dictators like Stalin, Mao and others. Sudan, Bosnia and even here in our great land the Native peoples were methodically eliminated. Each time an atrocity like this occurs, the world cries out “Never again”.
These are heart felt sentiments, made by sincere, well-meaning people. Let us not be deceived, the “spirit” of genocide (mass murder) is alive and well in the world. It waits patiently for the right time and circumstance to raise its ugly head and no amount of good intention rhetoric can prevent it.
There is but one solution that can eliminate this “spirit” and it is found in the Bible. Deuteronomy 6:5 says “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, your soul, your mind and your strength and to love your neighbor as yourself”. Only in these words does the call of “Never again” have any true meaning. Not a sermon, just a thought (LS)

Trauma.
What do you think of when you hear that word?
What about PTSD “Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome”?
Most people will tell you that it is a medical condition. Something you see a doctor about. Something you take a pill for. Yes, certainly people experience physical trauma. They see a doctor for cuts, bruises, breaks, bumps and scrapes. This is entirely an appropriate response.
But how about emotional trauma? In the Hebrew language, the word “Trauma” translates as a“Wound”. The trauma discussed above describes a “physical wounding” of the flesh. Emotional trauma is a wounding of the soul (soul wound) and no number of visits to a doctor or use of medication will ever bring healing to a soul wound.
With a physical wound, the doctor will wash the wound with an antiseptic wash and apply an antibiotic creme. With an emotional wound (soul wound) you still need to see a doctor. That doctors name is Jesus Christ. Emotional trauma or soul wound is caused by a spirit, a strong man. That strongman’s name is “Trauma”, and it manifests itself differently in every person. Trauma has many names and wears many hats, but “Trauma’ by any other name is still“Trauma”. The treatment for the soul wound is the same as a physical wound. The only difference being the antiseptic wash and the antibiotic creme that is applied to a soul wound is the blood of Jesus. Only the blood of Jesus can bring healing to a wounded soul.
Trauma is the tool Satan uses to bring disruption and chaos to all of humanity. Ever since the trauma that Adam and Eve experienced, when they sinned and lost their relationship with their creator, every person on earth has been touched and affected. When we experience emotional trauma, it makes an imprint on our soul and that imprint will always be with us. For the unbeliever, their soul wounds can never be healed because they do not recognize Jesus Christ as their doctor. Satan will continuously pick at their wounds to keep them from healing. The unbeliever will go to his/her grave under the adverse influence of their wound. Even we believers are affected by this spirit. We have experienced soul wounds and Satan will also attempt to keep our wounds from healing. Our only recourse is to continue to plead and apply the blood of Jesus to our wounding and to bind that strongman from his plans and schemes against us. We need to pray that the negative images, unhealthy beliefs and destructive memories would be found, opened and healed by filling us with the light, life and love of God.
The Church cannot pray effectively against this spirit, if it remains unrecognized and misunderstood. We need to pray with discernment, understanding and with specific, focused prayers. Trauma affects individuals, families, people groups and nations. It is the calling of every believer, to pray for all unbelievers, that the “strongman of trauma” will be broken off every life and pulled down in every nation. Our focused prayers are the only way that people and nations will be healed and set free.
